We are interested in the underlying microbiology of the skin microbiome and its impacts on skin health through microbe-microbe and host-microbe interactions. We are specifically interested in the fungal component of the skin microbiome and fungal pathogens, but we also investigate skin-resident bacteria and bacterial pathogens like Staphylococcus aureus.
